Description and further information

A buckle composed of two rectangular sections, the front framed with twisted wire. The surface is filled with enamel set in compartments, arranged symmetrically in the form of flowers, leaves and rosettes. The leaves appear in blue and black, while the flowers are rendered in pale pink. At the centre, the sections are decorated with an applied cloisonné-enamel rosette, surmounted by a natural pearl mounted on a pin.
