Terms of Use and Image Usage Policy
Purpose of the online catalogue
The online catalogue of the Christian Museum makes information, descriptions and digital images relating to the Museum’s collections and objects available for informational, educational and research purposes.
The database is continuously expanded and updated. The published information reflects the current state of collection cataloguing and research; consequently, the identification, dating, attribution, provenance, description and bibliography of individual objects may be revised or supplemented over time.
Use of object data and texts
The basic information, descriptions and other textual content published in the online catalogue may be quoted for educational, research and public-information purposes, provided that the source is accurately acknowledged.
The substantial or complete reproduction, adaptation, republication or commercial use of the texts, as well as their systematic incorporation into another database, requires the prior written permission of the Christian Museum.
Recommended citation:

The use of images in publications, press products, websites, social-media posts, films, advertisements or any other public medium requires the prior written permission of the Christian Museum.
Cropping images, making substantial alterations to their colours, modifying them graphically or presenting them in a misleading context is permitted only following prior consultation with the Museum.
