Description and further information
The apostles and angels form groups of two and three, while several figures stand apart from the others. Three apostles bend over the same book; on the right, two figures turn towards one another in conversation; one apostle approaches, stooping forward, with a censer; another falls to his knees and embraces the dead Virgin. Every participant in the scene is animated by lively movement, excitement, and mystical fervour. Vilmos Tátrai, 1993.
