A covered coffee pot standing on an openwork foot and decorated with leafy and floral scrolls. Its pear-shaped body is fitted with scroll-shaped ebony handle. The spout lies close to the body. Both the body and the spout are decorated with floral motifs set on leafy tendrils. A row of flowers threaded onto a scrolling vine, including tulips and rosettes, runs around the lid. The lid is further ornamented with engraved floral garlands and tendrils. On the inner surface of the lid are two rearing animal figures facing one another.
